Phimostop is a permanent solution, relapsing phimosis is extremely rare; to make sure you don’t have any problems however, you can wear the last tuboid you used for 2 to 3 nights after the end of treatment.

If you do not act in time and choose to procrastinate and postpone solving this troublesome problem, it is very likely that you may face circumcision surgery as a last resort to solve the phimosis problem.

If you have tight phimosis, it is normal for you to have very sensitive glans. The foreskin cannot uncover the glans, and the glans skin does not contact any external surface. This prevents the skin of the glans from keratinizing, and so you have far too much sensitivity.

In this case, a mild anesthetic cream can be used along with Phimostop. As it becomes possible to uncover the glans, the hypersensitivity will go away and you can stop using the cream.

Phimostop works with every type of phimosis (congenital and acquired).

In the vast majority of cases, phimosis can be permanently eliminated. Even in complex cases of congenital tight phimosis.

There are rare cases in which the expected result is not achieved. This happens if there is transient accessory disease (inflammation that has not yet resolved) or disease that compromises the entire foreskin (lichen sclerosus). In these cases, before using Phimostop it is necessary to treat the inflammation according to the instructions of the treating physician.

The foreskin, even a healthy one, can be naturally short (does not completely cover the glans), normal (covers the glans in a rest state and begins to uncover it in an erect state), abundant (covers the glans even in an erect state until it is brought down voluntarily or naturally during intercourse).

Consequently, a normal or abundant foreskin may be brought up to the fins; a scarce one up to the middle of the tuboid. The regressive effect of phimosis is achieved in both cases as long as the phimotic scar ring is made to rise up around the tuboid and not left down, out of the dilating action of Phimostop.

It is important to take care that the inner wall of the foreskin around the tuboid is also raised and not just the outer wall.

Phimostop is designed exclusively for the treatment of phimosis. In the presence of phimosis and short frenulum, you can use the product to treat phimosis. After treatment, it will be possible to work on the short frenulum following your doctor’s instructions. Phimostop does not treat short frenulum.

Every man has his own healing time. With a little patience and following the instructions well, healing is possible even with very tight phimosis. We are always available to give maximum assistance. Phimostop is based on the theory of skin dilation when subjected to constant pressure over time. It is a mechanical principle, not a “potion” or “magic”.

The effectiveness of the product depends on how it is used. The product is applicable for all types of phimosis. Its effectiveness may be reduced in cases of Lichen Sclerosus. In fact, Lichen Sclerosus makes the skin of the foreskin “dry” and does not allow it to heal completely.

In the presence of phimosis, the use of condoms in sexual intercourse is suggested to avoid forcing the phimotic ring and worsening the situation. During the use of Phimostop it is possible to remove the tuboid and then put it on again after intercourse.

We recommend the use of Phimostop from age 13 and up. Here’s why: in most children there is a physiological adherence between glans and foreskin at birth, which resolves spontaneously as they grow.

Foreskin shrinkage is therefore to be considered normal in the first years of life. It is present in 96% of cases at birth, in 80% of infants at 6 months of age, and in 10% of children at 5 years of age. Only after this age (5 years) is it correct to speak of congenital phimosis.

Uncovering of the glans occurs progressively during childhood and should be complete by the end of puberty. At age 13, only 2-4% of men still have phimosis.

There is no reason to accelerate this process unless complications occur and attempts at glans uncovering should not be performed under any circumstances because it could cause secondary phimosis.

Pediatric phimosis is of medical concern only when it is secondary or associated with complications:

Difficult or painful urination

Preputial “ballooning” during urination

Balanitis

Recurrent urinary infections

For these medical reasons we suggest the use of Phimostop only from age 13 and up.

In case of involuntary erection, the tuboid does not create discomfort.

The results of the research were published in the international scientific journal Translational Urology and Andrology.

The research showed that 81% of patients who reached the primary endpoint, confirmed the resolution of phimosis 24 months after using Phimostop and the absence of recurrence, allowing patients to avoid circumcision.
